Rubbish Investigation

Today we did a rubbish investigation. We had to search through the bin and make piles of non-recyclable rubbish, things that can be used as compost, paper and things that can be recycled. Here is my observation on it.

After our rubbish investigation I found out that our school uses more non-recyclable rubbish than recycled rubbish. I found out that there is heaps of non-eaten food scraps in the bin. Also I think that the school should get compost bins so we can use it on our gardens. I soon hope our school can be more recycable.

The laws are made by goverment, and if there is a problem the Governer Genral decides for them.

Why Should Rules Apply Equally And Be Public

Rules should be equal so it is fair for everyone, and rules should be public so everyone is aware of them.

What Is a Rule And What Is a Law

A rule is an instruction and so is a law. But if you break a law you get punshied (for eg if you murder someone you go to jail). If you break a rule it is not as bad punishment (for eg if you don't bring your homework on the due date you get detention).

I bet you never knew how all the months got their name. Well here they are.

January is the god of the door way and named after Janus.

February is named after Latin term Februum witch means purification.

March is named after Martius and comes from ancient Rome.

April was the 2nd month of the Roman calendar and is latin and named after Aprilis.

May is named after Greek godess Maia.

June is named after Roman godess Juno.

July is renamed for famous person Julius Caesar is also Latin named after Quintillis.

August was Originally name Sextillis and was renamed in 8 BC in honor of Augustus.

September in Latin is septem means 7 and septimus means seventh.

October retained its name from the latin octo meaning 8 .

November retained its name from latin novem meaning 9.

December in latin decem means 10, was also the 10th month in the roman calendar.
