Every 1st Tuesday of November it is The Melbourne Cup. The Melbourne Cup is when horses race from all around the world and is the horse race that stops the nation. Australians gamble over 10 million dollars on the Melbourne Cup every year. This year the winning horse was called Shocking. 2nd was Crime Scene and 3rd was Mourilyan. The owners and trainer of the winning horse wins millions.
