This stairway is made of cubes. How many cubes would be needed to make the steps 9 steps high?
To get this answer start by drawing a diagramof the 9 steps. Once the diagram is drawn add each cub in each row together. Now you should have the answer.
The answer is 45

Great work Katie! You also could have used actual blocks to make the stairs, then you could have taken a photo and uploaded it or you could have taken a photo of each step and then made a picture trail!
